About the Founder

Bogdan Fireteanu is a long distance tourer in various domains of activity.  With an experience of over 17 years in the digital world, he transitioned throughout different roles like senior web developer, art director, IT manager, web consultant, development lead or integration chief for leading agencies around the globe and also had the chance to work for many of the Fortune 500 companies.

He is a partner in The Velomedia Group, a private equity firm focused on pursuing a dynamic strategy of growth and capital investments in technical services, digital products and related industries around the globe. Since 2013, he is also a partner and the Director of European Operations at Crowd Favorite, now part of the group, the very first digital agency focused primarily on delivering enterprise-level solutions using the WordPress platform.

Last but not least, over the past ten years, he was engaged in the Romanian open-source ecosystem, helping the local community, by being the lead organiser, co-organiser and sponsor for events like IoT Bucharest Hangouts, WordPress Bucharest Meetup, WordCamp Bucharest, WordPress Cluj Meetup.
